Awal Dimazz
For Mohammed Awal Dimas fondly called Dimazz, music is his card to the good life.

Although he is also a business man dealing in Apple products and organic produce like rice, tomatoes and oil; having found Wayne City Music and Ghetto Youth Records, his musical gifts would be known by all.

Already, Dimazz has offered new tune ‘Just One Girl’. In the tune, Dimazz submits a female acquaintance and explained he needed to get to know her.

He adds he has his dream team comprising his good self and his lady who caters to his manly needs.

Dimazz raps and sings on this tune whiles he spits in English and his native dialect as well.

“My lady Rama never gave up on me, she believes I have a great future so keeps faith with me,” the only child of Mr. Aspaga and Madam Halimatu Sadia Haruna submitted as inspiration for the tune although he says others can pick lessons from it as well.

"Sarkodie and Reggie Rockstone had ladies who held them down so just one girl is enough," Dimazz stressed.

‘Just One Girl’ is produced by DJ Wayne with support from Ghetto Soulja who handled the management side of things.

26-year-old Dimazz attended the Armed Forces Secondary School offering Visual Arts. After his high school, he would head to the Regional Maritime University where he studied Administration.

In 2007, Dimazz together with his then mate AB going by the name Dew offered their first music but with AB leaving to serve in the US Army, he had to concentrate on his supply work to eke out a living.

But being cousins with Young Trixx Flowmorce who was friends with Mamobi based producer; DJ Wayne, offered an opportunity.

So when he heard a beat onetime and killed it, Wayne decided to take him on and groom him and with partner; Ghetto Soulja’s involvement ‘Just One Girl’ was birthed.

According to Dimazz, over 11 singles are ready to be released strategically adding: “I hope my music becomes my source of livelihood which will enable me do nothing else but tour the globe, play shows and make some good money.”

Although Jay Z, Drake, Tuface and P-Square are music notables he admires, Stonebwoy’s music journey fascinates him greatly adding: “If he could rise from the dust to where he is now, I can too.”
